I’m Clare, a life-long food lover turned vegan, and I am passionate about the many culinary delights that plant-based cooking can offer.
I started this blog as a way to more easily share my recipes with friends and family, but it has had the added benefit of forcing me to actually write down recipes, provide intelligible instructions, and bring a little order to the creative chaos (aka mess) that my cooking involves.
Food brings me enormous joy, and I hope this comes across in the recipes I share. Some recipes are super healthy, others indulgent, many are gluten or grain free, most are inexpensive to cook but some might need to be reserved for special occasions, and all of them allow you to bask in the smug glow that comes from avoiding animal products. But most of all, these recipes are designed to make you feel good.
So whether you need a few more vitamins in your life or something rich and comforting, whether you are a committed vegan or just trying to incorporate more plant-based food into your diet, the recipes in this blog are to be enjoyed fully and unashamedly.
